Some other inputs are energy-giving glucose, full cream milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, vegetable fat, Vitamin C, citric acids, starch, natural and artificial flavors. Some of the packaging materials and flavors are obtained locally from Caricom Countries, others from the United States and Europe . All processes are environmentally friendly. |

K.C. Confectionery Limited began in 1922 as a cottage industry and has diversified and expanded today to a fast paced, people driven company that is foremost in technology and innovation. The family-run company developed into a factory in 1957 and became fully automated by the early 1990's. The budding Candy Company experienced a significant increase in Human Resource Capital that resulted in advanced expertise, propelling the Company into a household name at national level, and obtaining high recognition from international markets. At present, KC Confectionery Limited exports products to all of the Caricom countries, the United States of America , Canada and the Netherlands Antilles . Today, sixty-four percent of our candy is exported.

Awards have been given to the Company in the fields of Tourism, Economic Growth in Trinidad, Work Place Safety, and Large Business Enterprise in the Caribbean . A Total Quality Management (TQM) approach has been adopted in which all personnel of the Company are an integral part.
